. The final works, originating from the registers of the sketchbook of the artist, show real characters who inspired the artist in the creation of his cartoons.

Zélia Cardoso de Mello worked in the academic, public and private sectors in Brazil. Her political career began in 1986 when Dilson Funaro, the Minister of Finance of Brazil, invited her to join his Economic Advisory Team as Director of the National Treasure Dept. In 1990 Cardoso de Mello was appointed the National Minister of Economy, Finance and Planning of Brazil. Cardoso de Mello has served executive positions at several major financial advisory companies focused on Brazil.

Marcia C. Leipner is a NDT Physicaltherapist and Psychomotricist from Brazil being graduate in the Universidade Católica de Petrópolis in Rio de Janeiro. In the very beginning your work was related with kids with development problems and after almost three decades of practice, study and research it has been amplified and now, always over the neuroevolutional basis she introduces her creation: THE LEIPNER FUNCTIONAL CONCEPT.

The pictures painted by Marlene Kirchesch to illustrate ths legend cycle are indeed more than mere illustration.They are plastic recreation of the contents and individualized atmosphere of each tale inclued in the selection, in each image, Marlene pictorially recreates the envionnment, the landscape, and the actions of the characters who are the protagonists of dramtic or comic episodes in these delightful tales.

Andréia Rosa, artist and entrepreneur, was born in southern Brazil, city of Porto Alegre She is watercolor's painter, German and Portuguese teacher, journalist, screenplay writer and compositor. She studied business management, German and Portuguese languages, literatures, journalism and visual arts Specializations at the Pontifical Catholic University of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, in the city of Porto Alegre, Brazil, and also in Germany.Actually she is also German and Portuguese teacher.

Farewell celebration to say good bye to Ambassador Seixas Corrêa. Mr.Correa was general consul at the consulate of Brazil in New York for two years . The Brazilian community and local authorities gathered in Pompeia Church in the Village - NY.

Representing the central part of Brazil, Perillo is Goias State Governor for the second time, and two times Senator.

Fernando Henrique Cardoso was president of the Federative Republic of Brazil for two consecutive mandates, the first from January 1st, 1995 to January 1st, 1999, and the second from January 1st, 1999 to January 1st, 2003. He is a sociologist and author of a number of books on social change and development in Brazil and Latin America. He was born in Rio de Janeiro on June 18th, 1931, into a family of military background. He was married to the anthropologist Ruth Corrêa Leite Cardoso .
